About

Geometrica has designed, manufactured and installed domes and space frames since 1992. The company has developed unique technology to build amazing, long span structures for architectural and industrial buildings. With offices in Houston, Texas and Monterrey, Mexico, and a global network of representatives, Geometrica has delivered domes and space frames in more than 40 countries in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Africa.

This proprietary technology called “Freedome®” allows Geometrica to build efficient geodesic and free-form domes. Of such domes, Geometrica has built the largest in the world, including the Jeddah Superdome (210m), Bocamina in Chile, (207m), the Glory Sanctuary in Nigeria (228m), and the four Nemak domes in Monterrey, Mexico (224m). Freedome® technology is used in China through a technology license granted by Geometrica to a company in that country.

Geometrica has several production lines. It has an automated factory in Monterrey, Mexico and another, its licensee’s, in Tianjin, China. It also has certification of its quality management system under the ISO 9001: 2015 standard, as well as ISO 3834 in welding quality, and EN 1090 to mark its structures with the CE seal required to export to the European Union.
