Our company has its origins in Vancouver, Canada in 1911; when mr. Alan J. Ayres and his son founded a modest warehouse of paintings and related items.

In 1941 General Paint enters Mexico managing its operations from San Francisco, California.

And since 1998, the brand and operations are proudly Mexican.

We maintain the quality standards that have always distinguished General Paint and we are constantly developing new products.
